Jon owen...well done mate

I went up to the studios in Monmouth when Jon and the lads were recording the single, they were staying there for a few nights all working hard all having a laugh but committed to raising enough money to pay for the statue.

All gave their services and time free of charge and I think Stuart Cable had sorted the studio for them, great credit should go to them all and we should all get behind the statue project...its our history, our football club and our new stadium...lets have a symbol there right at the front to emphasise that....cheers Jon...enjoying the Q and A mate...good stuff.

I have total respect for Jonny for doing that Q+A and that he did not know the questions beforehand must have been difficult but the answers were superb.

I must confess that I had no idea who Jonathan Owen was. Followed the Q and A, on a very slow connection, BT in South London! The guy that did the FA Cup thing, trawled through some very old emails and found it. Brought a few tears to old Willy's eyes. Willy may well be the leaving the UK for ever but he'll always have a season ticket at Cardiff.
