We get beaten by the world champions in Nice.

Not a bad performance though, all things told.

A very harsh red card for Neco Williams killed the game as a contest - it's difficult enough playing against France with eleven players.


Defended well in the second half.


Rubin Colwill got his debut as a late substitute.




Next up is our final pre-Euro 2020 friendly against Albania at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday.

Tonight is Wales' first friendly in preparation for Euro 2020, as we face France at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.

After that, we play Albania at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday before our first game against Switzerland in Baku on 12th June.



Tonight's game kicks off at 8.05pm, it is live on S4C Digital and Sky Sports.

There are two Cardiff City players that could feature, as Kieffer Moore and Rubin Colwill are both in the squad.

I never understand red cards in friendlies. Short of someone committing ABH they should stay 11 v 11.

It's a warm up to a tournament. It doesn't help either team when planning for their group games.

We are playing really well the sending off as changed the dynamics of game so page needs to make most of squad now not with 10mins left...otherwise wont learn anything worthwhile play colwill wont do any harm
