MY THOUGHTS: COULD GARETH BALE JOIN THE BLUEBIRDS?

Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:28 am

OK a very long shot i know but its not completely out of the question that the chaos the welshman has admitted in making would be for1 season only that he would join Cardiff City. To end his career at his hometown club would be in my opinion the best way to bow out of the football scene altogether by getting us promoted.

Notice how no one has even asked Mick McCarthy the Cardiff manager on what it would be like for both Cardiff and Bale if that move was going to be made. If Bale was going to us the club are doing an incredible job in keeping everything under the carpet until the end of the Euros. If it was going to happen of course.

Come on Gareth Bale do what you said and play for the bluebirds for a season to end your football career. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It's a nice thought Sam but I feel that's the best its going to get for us.

If he is to continue playing football I would say he would offer his services to Southampton as that is the club that gave him the break. Before he can make his move he needs to sort out his business with Real Madrid first. I personally can't see him going back there and I'm expecting him to sort it out soon after the Euro's. Once he has done that then he is free to do what he wants.

if he remains in football I can see him returning to Southampton who gave him his break. If he leaves football then the rumours of him becoming a professional golfer will rise again. I'm not sure how good he is in that sport but he has a desire for it and becoming a professional there he would consider an achievement. if gone of this happens then he has his pub in Cardiff where I'm sure he would become a popular landlord.

He nows that pub outright too

He may announce he’s retiring from football at the end of is contract which would effectively rule out out anyone buying him so Real might then offer part buy his contract up.
After that he could choose at any time to restart his career pick where he wants to go.

More likely to be going back to RM and he probably had a phone call from Ancelotti to say he was going there and wanted him to play for RM next season.

Hence Bale saying it would cause chaos if he said anything. It certainly will with the fans.

This is my exact thoughts, but it’s the time of year where all football fans are allowed to dream of better times, so until it’s official, I’m with Sam.

Ramsey returning is far more likely.Eventually

Not going to happen unfortunately, certainly not this year and probably never.

It's actually ridiculous that we're the third favourites to sign him, but that's just the bookies trying to entice people into the market.

Agree with the above, if he is to end his career at a UK club then it will probably be Southampton. But I think it's far more likely he'll end his career in the MLS or China.

But the most likely scenario, as said above, is that Ancelotti wants him to be part of his team at Real Madrid.

I know the Real Madrid hierarchy weren't happy with how Zidane treated Bale and Isco, due to the fact they were on such high wages and should have been used more often.
