The winger, named in Rob Page's Wales squad is back with Liverpool following on from a successful loan spell at Cardiff last season.

However, he is expected to be sold this summer, with Jurgen Klopp keen on cashing in for the former Derby County loanee.

A host of clubs have previously shown an interest, with one of them believed to be Leeds.

However, Football Insider claims Marcelo Bielsa has now decided against making a move for the Welshman, who Liverpool value at around £15m.

Cardiff would be unable to afford to buy Wilson but would be interested in another loan if he ended up not moving this summer.

I thought the same. If anything, you could argue he run around too much helping the team defend and should have kept himself fresh for decisive attacking moments. I knew he was a good player prior to joining us, what I didn’t realise was how hard he worked when the opposition were in possession. I’d love to have him on loan again next season.
