Did Keith say this years account?

I know he referred to accounts up to April 2020 for his spill the other day but I'm sure he said he could not quote up to today as there is no access to this years account. That being they have not been submitted to Companies House.

Dalman said last night we had an extension yet we have passed that extension so wouldn't there be a fine on top of that. Get an extension and still we f**k it up if they wasn't put in before lastnight or whatever time it ended

City's accounts were due to be in by 31st. May as that was only yesterday and it was a bank holiday, companies house has to process them before they are shown, normally 24 hours if done electonically. if not quite a bit longer if done paperwise
Ps don't get confused between what date that they had to be in to the EFL and the date into companies house!

We shall see if dalman is telling pork pies over the next few days then as he said we don't owe anyone money bar VT one man so I'm assuming the 39.5 million owed to "unnamed others" on the last set of accounts has been miraculously paid up by VT. God knows what's going on :bluescarf:

Ninian1927 definitely said the accounts were in and he could make them public "in a few days"

According to Dalman, the accounts had not been submitted, which leaves a certain amount of confusion...

Either of Ninian1927 or Dalman are wrong/mis-informing but which one is it?

I'm no fan of the politician that is Dalman, as I don't believe his heart or best interests are with the Bluebirds, but surely he would know when (or not) the the accounts went in?

But the evidence appears to show a few anomolies in Dalman's statements and the question of salary versus expenses remains largely unanswered...

Any good accountant will know his onions when it comes to company accounts and how monies can be not so much hidden but not necessarily placed in the public domain, whilst still being submitted properly to the Companies House

It's an odd one but maybe not as odd as it first appears?

It will all come out in the wash... ;)

I seem to remember that the £39.5m loan was explained away as being a short term loan borrowed against TV revenues which were owed to the club. Apparently this is normal practise amongst football clubs as TV revenues are paid in staggered instalments over the season.

I think you are right. Every season when the accounts are due Keith 62 will state they have been filed @ Companies House (due to his job he can see them well in advance) but there is always a lag of a few weeks until they are publicly published @ CH

How come we've signed players then. If the accounts haven't been submitted we are still under a transfer embargo

If you read my post above
Companies house accounts are not the Efl accounts which if those were not submitted we would be under an imbargo, those have been submitted to the efl. so we are not under an embargo.
Re: the companies accounts city had until yesterday ( bank holiday monday) to submit those, they should appear online pretty soon.

One last thing even if we were under an embargo we could still sign out of contact/released players.
Collins contract was supposed to end on 30th June, but was relesed from said contract so that he could sign immediately!

The accounts usually take a few days to show up on Companies House, longer if they have been filed manually.

The May 2020 accounts were delivered to Companies House on 21 May 2021 but , because of their staff issues caused by furlough and most people working from home there has been a delay in Companies House posting them on the public register.
Don`t know who your friend at the club is but he /she has just got that wrong.

The same accounts were lodged with the EFL before the end of April so any (technical) transfer embargo was lifted then.

I did a full commentary on the 2020 accounts a few weeks ago which has been released today ( to coincide with the formal publication at Companies House) and should be on here soon if not already.
