While it is far too early to make predictions - but as it stands today the 2021-2022 is shaping up to be the most unpredictable season imaginable.

The reason for that is because :

(1) with the exception of the 3 who went down from the PL , no one has money

(2) there are hundreds of good players available for free

(3) there will be hundreds of good players available on loan. The bottom line will rest on WHICH CLUB TRADES BETTER !!! When the trading finishes - we will be able to have a better idea.

I wonder how we will shape up ?

For example , Collins is a good acquisition but I am certain there are 10 or 20 top notch strikers who will be available on loan or on a free.

The trading issue is of course important but equal to that will be how you use the players you have acquired. You can be a great wheeler dealer but if you are unable to galvanise the players at your disposal into a cohesive unit, you will struggle to make an impact in this league.

Can't see anything BUT automatic promotion.

Would hope so on a sunny sunday but you are probably right.

I'll settle for top spot.

We have a highly competent manager and for the first time for a decade some really promising youngsters coming through our youth set up. If we deal well in the transfer market there is no reason why we should not make the playoffs. No reason why we should not be able to attract good players too. We have been promoted to the premier league twice recently not to mention getting to a cup final and will be attractive to lots of players. Hopefully MM knows what he is doing and will get those players in.

Personally I think next season will be a good one for us ending in a playoff final at Wembley.

Watched the Blackpool Lincon final today and the picture of those Blackpool fans celebrating at Wembley brought back some unhappy memories.
