Second time he's left, and he shouldn't really have gone back - did a brilliant job last time and, together with his playing career there, it's probably best to leave the good memories where they are.

Apparently they weren't happy with the way he forced a number of players out of the club, such as Bale and Reguilon. Especially with Bale because they're still paying a lot of his wages but had to make the deal because they had no other offers and Zidane wasn't even talking to him. They also didn't like the fact Bale was putting a bad image on the club by looking bored on the bench and they partly blamed Zidane for that.

No idea who they'll go for next. There were reports of Ancelotti going back there a few weeks ago, but again it might not be the best idea for them to bring back an old manager. Roberto Martinez also been mentioned.

Media reporting that Conte could be about to take the Spurs job.

And can’t have helped that Bale on the whole has done well at Spurs whilst Madrid’s attack has spluttered. Had Jose played him more it’s very likely he would have got 20/25 goals for them this season which really would have made Madrid look like mugs.

Even with Zidane gone though, it’s hard to see a future for him at Madrid as the fans clearly hate him - it seems his only real crime is that he isn’t Ronaldo. Wonder if their ‘fans’ have turned on Hazard in the same way?

The biggest clubs he scored against was Leicester on the final day and West Ham. He looked his sharpest only the final day. I did enjoy the Sheff Utd performance mind you. :)

To say he done well this season is a bit hard. Only Kane and Son could say it without embarrassment.
