Are we still under a transfer embargo?

I remember reading a short while ago that we were one of a number of teams in the Championship who were under a transfer embargo I think because we hadn't filed the annual accounts on time?

I realise that the season is not over yet and that we would be unlikely to sign anyone before contracts expire at the end of June but will our hands be tied even further at that time by being under an embargo?

Yes, they are waiting on our accounts to be submitted, late for some reason?

Annis the government said all accounts could be put in 3 months later than normal, uk wide, but typical the EFL said no, there are about 12 championship teams that are under the same embargo. Nothing to worry about, accounts will all be done for us, no idea about the other teams

yes...but , HMRC extended the deadline for accounts to be submitted by 3 months due to covid to 31st May.. the EFL did not follow suit instead putting all the clubs who missed the initial deadline under a transfer embargo { which gets lifted on submission of accounts } during a period there was no transfer window open anyway... fitter if they dealt with cheats and rogue owners instead of creating silly sensational; headlines for the press...
