It’s quite telling that joe Bennett who can’t run is managing to stay in better shape.

He will throw the mental health card !!
NOW.... I am not repeat not dissing any mental health issues here but it has been used before.

I think we should pay him off, but there needs something put in place that stops players getting payoffs then joining other clubs almost straight away. ( NML )

NML didnt get a pay off though, he was dismissed for gross misconduct, but the annoying thing with him was he would have had a signing on fee, as he was a "free" agent!!

It’s unbelievable, personally I think Tomlin is an embarrassment to professional football.

Why, what? If you mean mental health issues, didn't the Messiah once say that Tomlin couldn't play as he wasn't in the right place? ( After forking out a wad of cash to sign him )
Sorry, but any professional who can let themselves get that far out of shape obviously has issues and is no good to our club.

Sorry 62, not meant him specifically, just as there have been cases of players getting paid off or orchestrating moves is what I was trying to get at.

For me, he is either fit and playing for us, or he's not fit and not playing at all. I will be pretty pissed if we send out a fit Tomlin and opt to keep/play Williams. Both injury prone, Williams more so, but Tomlin is a game changer and Williams is from it. 10mins to go an 1 goal down i know who id rather bring on. A semi-fit Tomlin everytime.

generally agree and have said much the same... but.... we dont know what goes on behind the scenes..or how { possibly } difficult he is to manage .he wasnt long at Bournemouth before Eddie Howe shipped him out on loan...and from a playing perspective he seemed to do well at Bristol . made 56 out of a possible 64 apps { 48 starts } ....yet they sold him to us for £1.5 mill plus an equal amount in add ons .

Tomlin sat on the bench with Sol Bamba.

Opposite ends of the professional footballer spectrum.

I could do what he does for a fraction of the cost and it's my 67th birthday today. His pictures make me look like an athlete. As much as I rate his ability, his attitude is shocking. He is effectively stealing from the club. Has he no shame???

Come on people, you are forgetting his mental health issues. Difficult time for the lad over the years. Might be all true I guess, but a convenient cop-out card possibly????

Good riddance , ffs,ffs.
