I doubt any clubs will come in for them and what it would cost to pay off their contracts is crazy just keep with them and see what happens otherwise any chance of signing anyone could be gone paying up their contracts so I think they wont be gone

Was he that good in the first place? We will never find out.

I know we have not heard or saw Hoilett in ages but what injury does he have i wonder.
Seems like he has been mysteriously missing for a while.

the only person on that thread concerned about previous injuries was thomasblues which was based on something Lutons manager had said after losing out on signing the boy.....
not exactly over concerned about injuries a few days earlier though...?

Tomlin needs to stay if we can get him fit or even if he wants to get fit. Its down to him really :ayatollah: :bluebird:
Some people just don't like him and want him gone

So we pay over £100,000 a month to a player who has played 50 odd games in over 3 and a half years and same at every club he has played for and we we wait for for months for a bit of magic

There is is being a mug and hopefully I am hearing Big Mick is having none of it and our club comes first not Tomlins purse :thumbright: :bluebird:

would you pay his contract up if it were your choice....?
personally id wait till pre season at the very least and see what shape he is in... its not like he is going to be offered a long or lucrative contract elsewhere so therefore would probably want the bulk of his contract paid to leave....

No I would not pay him fully up, without a doubt No. I would hope to be able to get a club for him and to sort out a deal. I agree it will be very very hard to find a club to pay him high wages with Tomlin’s awful track record.

But I am hearing McCarthy would like him gone, but it’s easier said than done that is the problem.

This MB has been really good in recent years with regard to posters make their opinions known without resorting to calling other posters 'Arseholes' and other personal attacks.

I don't know who this one post wonder is but he has contributed nothing to the debate and should go else where to spread his bile.

Thanks Tony,

We have for years kept this forum away from low life’s and personal attacks but those that are as sad and cowardly as this one and must not have a life will always want to do things like this as sadly he does not know any better.

The Committee have the final say as they have stated and it’s funny our most successful managers Malky & Warnock they have slated because they never accepted being controlled by them . But they both brought between them nearly £500mill in to our club and that’s how we have really survived.

That is uncalled for.

Can’t accuse Annis of not putting up. He is a season ticket holder of long standing and has offered to put significant money into the club.

I don’t agree with all he says but no need in that. He isn’t an arsehole at all.

I have some sympathy with Vassell.
Very unlucky. I still hope he gets fit and contributes or moves on and plays somewhere else.

As for Tomlin, completely agree.

The one thing about Tomlin is that whenever he gets injured he piles on a significant amount of weight, making his return from injury so much longer than it needs to be.

To me this is incredibly unprofessional. I mean, he has the money and facilities and experts to ensure he he eats well and manages his weight when he's injured. I know he can't train but to put on so much weight in such a short period of time means he's not looking after himself.

He needs to go asap.
