The Media (Glen Williams ) are saying that Cardiff CIty's Tavio d'Almeida also a player who has impressed and is knocking on the door of the first team squad.

D'Almeida, aged 20, was released by Auxerre 18 months ago and City took him on after a trial period.

Cardiff Signed him 1st August 2019.


Tavio Kouakou d’Almeida was named among the substitutes for Cardiff City's Carabao Cup tie with Luton Town in August 2019.

Be very interesting to see how he develops in his 20's as D'LAlmeida was one of the 8 players Tan and The Committee wanted Neil Harris to in his first team squad.

Early this season he got injured so that's why he hasn't featured so much,but is back playing now.

He is a very competent player.

Very good on the ball, technically gifted.

I think he would be in and around the first team by now if he hadn't had injuries at the wrong time.

I think Sol Bamba actually made the comments about 4 youngsters, including Tavio d'Almeida, after training with them, and if he thinks he's got potential then hopefully we'll see him soon.
