Derby Disposals.

Just a thought, been keeping an eye on Derby County,if they get relegated it's likely Tommy Lawrence and Waggy will be available, they were both prolific when they played for Mick at Ipswich and not done much since. In the past he's recalled ex players when rebuilding on a budget, like Christophe Berra from Wolves and Murphy, from his Sunderland days, for little money too. He quoted 'wages are the new transfer fees' at the time and they were very loyal to him,Lawrence being just a loanie at the time. They headed out after Mick left Ipswich. it'll be interesting to see if they'll be targets in the Summer (depending on Derby's situation and Micks 'previous'),long shots but possible candidates.

to be fair,I wasn't a fan of Waghorn , but he scored 16 goals in his season at Ipswixh, looked a great signing,Tom Lawrence, who I always thought was a bit of an anti climax, just looked brilliant at times, scored 9 I think ? but was involved in some creative stuff under Mick and the fans were desperate to sign him. They've just become what they were before their 'Ipswich' time again.Different players under MM for sure and he is a creature of habit,he'll look for sure.

Lawrence was absolute dogshit when he played for us.

Then he went to Ipswich and seemed to score brilliant goals every other week.

Over the last couple of years at Derby, he's looked back to his old self.

Waghorn is an alright Championship player but that's it. He'll get a few goals but I think he's also had his problems with injury. Wouldn't really add much to the squad and his wages wouldn't be low enough to bring him in as a fringe player.

I wouldn't sign either and I doubt they'll have many offers.

If they go down, Derby may decide to keep most of their squad anyway. We know they play high stakes when it comes to hoping to be promoted.
