MICK McCARTHY:
Swansea’s ‘Enough is Enough’ campaign, what do you make of that? Can it raise awareness that way?
My social media presence is zero, so it won’t affect me.
I am appalled by any sort of abuse. Racist abuse, bullying. I can’t imagine what kids go through now, they go to school, get bullied at school, go home and look at social media.
It’s appalling.
Someone has to make a stance. I saw Thierry Henry came off it. If one person is going to make a difference, I don’t know.
But I just don’t get it. There’s no doubt if I was on it I would get abused.
So as far as I’m concerned it’s a good thing they are making that stance.
I think clubs, we have a great responsibility that we can have an effect. So fair play to them for doing it.
