On Saturday the whole Bradford City team refused to take the knee.
More and more football clubs are now refusing to take the knee.

As the ref did as he has no other choice, the Colchester team did, but not one Bradford City player did .

It was at Colchester and the Bantams won away 2-1 .

It’s causing so much divide maybe it’s time once and for all for every club to stop. No one should be forced to do it.

BRENTFORD FC:

“We have been taking a knee before games since June but… no longer believe that this is having an impact.”
Brentford players have released a statement explaining their rationale behind refusing to take the knee in Sunday’s game against Barnsley.

In the statement released by the club, the players explained how they feel the act of taking the knee is no longer having an impact.

A number of leading footballers have said they're going to stop taking a knee before matches.
Crystal Palace player Wilfried Zaha has become the first Premier League player to do so because he believes the protest is no longer enough.


"I feel like taking a knee is degrading," he told the FT Business of Football conference.
Championship side Brentford have also said their players won't take the knee, with striker Ivan Toney telling Sky Sports: "We are being used as puppets."


Since June, players, officials and staff at Premier League and EFL games have been taking a knee before kick-off to show support for the movement for racial equality.



Millwall Football club were one of the first clubs to refuse taking the knee and were backed by their fans.

I've always said it should be each player's individual choice. Nobody should have been forced to do it, but some were unfortunately.

I also don't believe that anyone on here who was against it from the start is a racist. To think that would be extremely naive.

I personally supported it at the beginning.

But now I accept there's no point in it because it's an empty gesture. It hasn't solved the problem.

There is still racist abuse out there unfortunately.

Taking the knee is associated with the BLM a Marxist organisation. Its caused nothing but division and should have been stopped from the start. For me the problem is that the media that have tried to promote it have realise the problem but continue to carry it on due to the fact they are not big enough to admit they got it wrong.
