Maybe we could have a weekly “Where’s Dai” competition where you have to find the legend in a crowd of people.

You know what thats a good idea, could raise some money to give to charity(thinking of sol) I'm sure someone's capable of printing tickets/pics on a weekly basis? Ccfc

If the “hunt for Hunt” competition raised a few quid, it wouldn’t be a bad thing, providing Dai’s on board.

Dai's mum died in Jan, I believe she was 98, met her once..lovely woman, well spoken and smart, so not sure what happened with Dai.

They used to play ‘Hunt the xxxx’ when Dai was in school. Every time he’s mentioned, I go back to Exeter away 1982.. ‘Hemmmerrrmmmmannn’ all game. Fair play tho, he’s always there

Off topic but I remember ‘waiting outside’ had a whole different meaning in the late 70s
First game I saw was QPR home in the second round of the league cup and I was hooked. Loved the game, the excitement, the noise then we walked into the car park and witnessed QPR fans running the gauntlet to their buses / cars as city fans picked them off and pinched scarves off them. One or two police that were around didn’t seem too bothered.
Amazing how times change.
