' Aden Flint '

When Aden Flint was shipped out to Sheffield Wednesday on loan, his career at Cardiff City Stadium appeared to be over. Indeed., when he returned to the capital, he wasn't exactly greeted with an enthusiastic fanfare by fans.

In fact, let's be frank, there were plenty of onlookers (myself included), who were unconvinced the former Bristol City man was good enough to play a part in a side pushing for the top six.

If we're not all tucking into humble pie already, we bloody well ought to be face down in it now.

There have already been plenty of column inches on Flint's astonishing renaissance under Mick McCarthy, but this was perhaps his finest hour yet.

A domineering presence at the back alongside the lionhearted Sean Morrison, Flint was also an utter nuisance for Swansea's defence too, and is now one of the lucky few to have etched their name into South Wales derby folklore.

A day he'll surely never forget.
