The run in: ' It makes interesting viewing '

And it makes interesting viewing.

I feel most of those above us have a more difficult run in than us. Jacks have the easiest but they are not going to make autos as that belongs to Norwich and Watford. Reading is horrific because they need to play Barnsley A, Middlesborough H, Cardiff H, Swansea H, and Norwich A. In comparison t us we only have them and Brentford A. A win at their place for us and we will over take them.

So lets look at the other teams around us, Brentford, Swansea, Barnsley, Bournemouth and Middlesborough. For me 3rd and 4th place belong to Brentford and Swansea. 5th place will go to Barnsley as they have quite an easy run in and could do us a favour by taking points of Reading and Middlesborough. So that leaves the final spot between us, Bournemouth and Middlesborough.

Middlesborough next 3 games are Bournemouth A, Watford H and Barnsley A. I can see them dropping quite a few points there killing off their chance although their run in after that looks the easiest.

So that leaves Bournemouth who after Middlesbourgh next game have Norwich A and Brentford H. I believe it is possible to catch them therefore gaining that last spot.

This is going to be some finish.

Our biggest concern will be Kieffer and the number of welsh games. hopefully just 2 games for him and an hour for each one.

Birmingham have a horrific run in. They will be up against 3 teams aiming for promotion starting with the Jacks H next up then followed by Brentford A then they have us at home going into May. Between playing next up The Jacks and us they have a number of 6 pointers against Rotherham A, Forest H and Derby A. By the tie they come to play us we could be the team to put them down.

Derby could be dragged into it as well as they have 3 very difficult games left, Reading A, Norwich H and Swansea A. I think they have enough to prevent Rotherham catching them up though.

Finally we need to look at Coventry. They have coming up Bournemouth H, Barnsley A but after these games they are against teams where they can pick up enough points to survive.

Summing up Birmingham are in the shit.

We now enter the realms of an 8 game mini season and absolutely everything is up for grabs, except automatic as I think Norwich and Watford have a strangle hold on the top 2 places.

I never thought we could get near the playoffs from where we were are 23 games but we are right in this and we could be the team to make the late run into the playoffs this season and right now I fancy our chances against any team. Right now I think we would give Norwich a fright.

Of the remaining games Blackburn is the one I would worry about Mowbray always seems to do us over.

I said about a week ago that Reading were the team to catch, but Bouremouth are eyeing them up too.

Looking at Bournemouths fixtures, Then it's really anybody's game.

Barnsley play Reading on Sat(?). There really isn't a bad result out of that one tbh. A draw is good for us, but a see at for one of them is also OK.

I think unless Middlesborough win at Bournemouth in their next match it is between us and Bournemouh for the last playoff spot. In out last 8 games we will have to win 5 draw 2 and maybe can afford to lose 1. It is achievable. We should win the last three against Wycombe already relegated Birmingham who might be relegated by then and Rotherham hopefully safe and exhausted from all the games they have to play. If Bournemoth win five or more of their last nine we will struggle to catch them.
