I was just about to post something similar and then saw your thread.

He must be one of the most intelligent and insightful players that we have. As you say, his honesty is unreal in the modern game. Most players will cliche every answer but Will just says it how he sees it, and to be fair, he sees it better than most.

He did an interview a few games back and I sat up and took notice then, because he knew exactly what he was talking about. I've just watched this one and been even more impressed. A top top bloke in my opinion, and a pretty good footballer to boot.

Think that last sentence sums the way he comes across perfectly. A real asset to the club, both on and off the pitch .

They were saying in the city commentary on City TV a while back that he did a lot of charity work during lockdowns and that it was completely off his own back not arranged by the club or anything just stuff he thought he should do. THey were massively complimentary of him not just as a player (in fairness you expect that on City TV) but went out of their way to say how decent a bloke he is as well.
