Mark is a very decent man and was a great captain for us , Whitts was probably our best player i have watched on his day a joy to behold.
I was lucky to have watched him live what a left foot. :ayatollah:

Peter Whittingham - @CardiffCityFC legend! Ex-#Bluebirds captain & @BBCRadioWales pundit Jason Perry put it well.”He brought more smiles & shakes of both our heads for unbelievable goals & passes during commentary than any other player I have watched while working with you.”#RIP :ayatollah:

Every time we had a free kick within 35 yards - you always knew there was a strong chance it was going in the net, Ive lost count the number of times that it happened.

Life is precious everyone - dont waste your time on things that dont matter. What happened to Whitts could have happened to anyone of us.

'You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone' - someone once said. And it is so, so true in the case of Peter Whittingham. Taking my Bluebird hat off for a moment, it is a shame that his career didn't give him the exposure his talent (and his modesty) deserved! The goal he scored against Barnsley, was a thing of beauty that a Wordsworth, or a Turner could never match. It is, after all, the beautiful game - otherwise, we wouldn't be here. :bluescarf:
