Is he on a large pay off settlement or something if he loses his seat, as its inconcievable he will be re elected

What he is actually quoted as saying is that if there was a crisis, he would consider a curfew.
That does not mean a curfew is being considered now.

A baroness is proposing a curfew for men after 6! Why should this idiot even mention it in any circumstances?
It amounts to Marshall law or state of emergency so call in army as bnot enough police to make sure men are out for legitimate reasons ... plain and simply hes nothing short if publicity seeking politician.

Perhaps he was just answering a question that was put to him?

Here's the full quote
"If there were a crisis, and you needed to take dramatic action that allowed that crisis to be drawn down, then of course you'd be prepared to consider all measures that would make a difference,"

I can't see anything that he has said to worry about not being able to attend a 7.45 pm kick off.(when we're allowed to attend a 7.45 pm kick off that is!!)

Think the reference to crowds came in a radio interview they do when leaking news prior to weekly briefings? It was about large gatherings like concerts a well......It tends to hide bad news as people concentrate on live briefings on a Friday. As for curfew as any other politician made reference to it?

A step way to far, you can't have curfew's just because some sick minded idiots can't behave themselves!!!

Sorry Allan, I was using the kick off time in reference to the question about a curfew after 6.00 pm rather than crows in stadiums.
This was following a speech in the House of Lords by Baroness Jones who has said she may seek an amendment to law to keep young men off the streets after 6.00 pm.

If you read the linked article Drakeford clarifies his position:
[b]The First Minister has since clarified his comments on social media, saying: "We are not introducing a curfew for men in Wales – or even considering it."

I don't believe there's anything to be concerned about, it's just more column inches being filled.
With regard publicity seeking politicians,to my mind pretty much all of them are ;)

This is where following mainstream media, politics and so forth gets you! Complete insanity. Blatent hate speech.

Funny isn't? All of the outrage is being orchestrated and stage managed, like many other recent events. In fact the last week has shown how insane and blatent MSM have become in pretending to care about an issue, to push forward radical political agendas.

indeed.. but you would expect the FM to not get caught up in something that was only said by Baroness Jones to make a point just because its in the MSM.. and no its really not funny that our leader goes on a nonsense rant about if there were a crisis , and curfew for men not being top of the list... christ it shouldnt be near any list...

Re: Drakeford considering male curfew!

Drakeford is the crisis, and this Assembly Govt is a shambles. If that’s the best we have, Wales is shot.

Will anyone on here vote for Drakeford / Labour

Fri Mar 12, 2021 7:28 pm

It doesnt surprise in the least he has said this. he seems to have an opinion on even the most bizarre hypothetical question.

Is anybody seriously considering voting for Drakeford ? , Welsh Labour been in power for 21 years down the Bay, we have had some clowns in charge in that time but this particular clown takes the biscuit.
I heard him early - you can now go round to your friends house - and you are allowed in their house but only if you are on the way to the back garden. You shouldnt expect to use their toilet - BUT you can use their toilet if you want to.

Do we really need the First minister of Wales to go into this banal sort detail of where you can have a cr@p. You cant - you can if , you cant stay indoors you must be on way to their back garden. Who cares - who is going to Police the mass sh1t taking that is bound to go in other peoples houses.

The whole world is getting like USA in protesting about authorities and their actions? No one seems to to want to accept officialdom and demand police ect are guilty and we must have inquiry to prove it.....
Ps...copper charged now with kidnapping and murder.

There must be a hundred inquiries going on because people dont like a decision made by authorities and when an inquiry doesnt give the decision people wanted they cry cover up or racist or the like...

I watched the interview on BBC Breakfast yesterday and whilst Drakeford said it was not something that was top of his agenda, it was something he would consider in a "Crisis" . Watch

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/politics/ ... h-everard/

This man simply cannot engage his brain before opening his mouth because surely as Law & Order is NOT a devolved power in Wales any such "Curfew" could only ever be passed into law by the Westminster Parliament, even as an emergency power in a crisis.

How anyone could think about voting for this man and the rest of his Looney Left Cronies is just beyond me.

Just how easy is it for the authorities to bring in such Law or Statue?

The Statues they have brought in with the Pandemic I do question how they would stand up against the Magna Carta. The reason none of this has been challenged is a number of reasons with a couple of reasons being Project Fear and that most of us could not afford to defend ourselves.

Yeah - all kinds, except of course if you just happen to be born a male :banghead:

Completely agree Ian and in my opinion Drakeford has been the worst of the lot at introducing "Law" including being unable to purchase non essential items in Supermarkets. As you say most are introduced under the Public Health umbrella and in Drakeford's case always full on Project Fear with no scientific advice to support it.

My point here is Drakeford has absolutely no power as Law & Order is a matter decided by the one Sovereign Parliament in the UK, Westminster. The same goes with UK Borders and Foreign Travel not a devolved power.

Why Drakeford feels the need to express an opinion is beyond me.

your point is correct..... but the reality is he has over reached his power a number of times and got away with it while the majority of the population seem to just accept everything simon says....
