Stupid thing to say or even consider. From how I read it, Jones’ comments were to highlight the stupidity of telling women to avoid going out in the dark to stay safe, flipping it on its head by saying “this half of the population should be restricted instead of this half”. How on earth it’s been taken literally is baffling.

So from sometime in May I will be able to travel to Cyprus, by then I will have received both doses of the vaccine, but I won't be able to watch my football team in Cardiff this year. Either the vaccines work or they don't either LFT or mass testing work of they don't so how on earth can this man say this. It looks likely the only chance we may have of watching the city other than on TV will be to travel to away matches.

I think Drakeford needs to get his head around the Senedd Elections on May 6th or maybe he will cancel them and destroy any claim that democracy exists in Wales.

How gutted would you feel if were from just over the bridge and you'd bought a caravan in Kiln Park or Gower and you arn't allowed to use it based on a postcode?

Maybe but Boris Johnson has the final say on that as control of UK Borders is not a devolved power. Within the plan BJ has published mid May is when they will decide on foreign travel. I picked Cyprus because they have said UK residents who have had both doses of the vaccine can travel from early May. If Boris Johnson gives foreign travel the thumbs up in mid May Drakeford can do nothing about the traffic up the M4 to Bristol, Gatwick or Heathrow.

Hopefully after May 6th Drakeford will be an irrelevance.

And that is exactly why he behaves in the way he does corky he believes the people of Wales or South East Wales will vote for a retired pit pony if it said Labour on the ballot form. In the last election only 46% of the Welsh electorate bothered to vote and Labour took around 33% of the votes, around 335,000 votes or 15% of the Welsh Electorate. In the 2019 General Election over 555,000 people in Wales voted Conservative if they turn out in May Drakeford and Welsh Labour have a problem.

In January Drakeford told the Welsh people the vaccine roll out was not a race but today he said he has to be "Cautious" with easing restrictions because 1 in 6 people have not been vaccinated. That's one of the reasons why it was ALWAYS a race, a race against the virus, infection, death and creating the conditions to reopen the economy.

I agree there is limited choice but leaving a clown like Drakeford as FM is the worst possible alternative so I'd say get out and vote for ANY party other than Labour. If you live in the Cardiff West constituency Drakeford is an easy target for either Plaid or Conservative.

I have always been Labour but cannot any more Drakeford and his side kick Gething have destroyed any confidence I ever had in welsh government I personally feel we are far worse off since the welsh assembly was brought into action.
