Max Watters in the under-23s, verdict on him?
MICK McCARTHY:
"He is much improved, certainly on the stuff me and TC spoke to him about, in terms of where he will get his goals.
I know he had a few before, but where he will get his goals is in that second six-yard box. He scored four in the last two games.
Between himself and Mark Harris, who also scored but doesn’t get a mention, the both of them have played better together. A better understanding of the position.
That’s TC who does that work with them on a morning prior to training.
You can certainly see an improvement."

Good to hear as it's an area that we really need more options to take some of the pressure off big Kieffer Moore.
Let's hope he (or they) can really force their way into the first-team squad.

TC sounds great. Working with them before training shows real commitment .

Think he might just turn out to be a good goal scorer at this level. We will have to try him to find out. Problem is is he is not really a replacement for Keifer more a striker who would benefit from playing alongside him. Hope he will get some sort of run out against Watford.
