' Will be very interesting / CCFC Transfers '

As we all now know the Cardiff City Committee (Vincent Tan /Chairman Dalman / CEO Ken Choo ) have this season after 11 years decided they virtually only want to sign young players (younger / inexperienced players demand very low wages), bring the average age down of the squad lower.

If Cardiff dont go up this season.

Apparently Mick McCarthey would rather look for experienced new signings this Summer.

And it appears as though McCarthy will look to add experience where he feels it is needed.

Mick McCarthy had just two weeks of the January window after Neil Harris' departure and he signed Jonny Williams on a free for 3months and went after Rhodes and Jerome and is still interested in Rhodes.

By that logic, the priority for McCarthy and Cardiff seems to be clear, they need to find the right, experienced back-up for Moore to ensure City do not become over reliant on just one man.

If going by how Big Mick has been in the past straight talking and does what he wants to regarding the team and rightly so then I see it happening Big Micks way.

Given the transfer committee have brought in Moore and NG to name 2 I don't think MM and the committee will be too far apart in thinking.MM is just the fella actually when it comes to working on a shoestring as he did at Ipswich without parachute payments.

Suspect be a fair few experienced players looking for clubs in summer .....so clubs hold the upper hand regarding wages those on 20k+ a week at old club can see that dropping to 15k a week if players lucky

You are quite correct there, if the signing turns out to be good then it is the manager who did the signing, but if the player is a failure, then all we will hear is, that the committee have once again got it wrong, it happens all the time

We should be looking for a blend of youngsters and experience. Buying youngsters doesn't mean no experience either. NG is 24 and has featured in almost 200 competitive fixtures.

Don't fancy Rhodes. 31 and earning close to 30k. How much would he be willing to drop? Just to be backup for Moore as well. Could have kept Patterson if we are going to sign someone on a decent wedge like that.

A mix of both can't be ruled out - Look at the 2 previous times we went up .

Think one of the first thing MM has to do in the summer is go for a permanent deal for Harry Wilson he's been the creativity driving the team forward with his magic :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Jordan Rhodes wage demands will be interesting next season

He is a proven striker at this level, but is out of contract and has not been a regular starter or goalscorer for 2/3 years

He is probably one of Sheff Wed highest earner on maybe £25k a week at the moment

But at 31 and past his peak, in the current climate £5k a week might be the most any club would pay him
