Very interesting that Harris talks highly about South Asian footballers , not heard that many football Uk pundits say this before . Hmmmmmm?

Tan absolutely loved Harris and was determined to keep him on at City.

To be fair, I watched it and they were doing a special segment on young asian footballers.

Chris Powell said a few similar things as well.

You mean like Tom Sang, Mark Harris, Ciaron Brown, Declan John, Aaron Ramsey, Adam Matthews?

And at bigger clubs - Marcus Rashford, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Mason Mount, Mason Greenwood, Tammy Abraham, Bukayo Saka, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Curtis Jones, Neco Williams, Dominic Calvert-Lewin etc.

All these players have been given a chance at their club over the last few years at a young age.

The policy with all players should be that if they're good enough then they'll get a chance.

Our squad of 25 Brits, 2 Africans, 1 European and 1 North American really shows how South Asian players are ruining young British footballer's prospects.

If it weren't for Kim bo and Etheridge (who was born in London) playing for Cardiff in the last decade our team would be filled with Brits.... Hang on a second!

Not the same in the Premiership. At Chelsea prime example not many had a sniff until there transfer ban. Many Prem teams don’t have that many Brits. Go down the league yes then much more Brits.

Because the majority of the Premier League teams have massive budgets to buy the best players in the world, a pool of players to choose from where British players are just a small section. All the top leagues in Europe will have massive numbers of foreign players.

Premier League - 514 players, 285 foreign. 55.4%
Ligue 1 - 552 players, 264 foreign. 47.8%
Bundesliga - 520 players, 287 foreign. 55.8%
La Liga - 508 players, 195 foreign. 38.4%
Serie A - 555 players, 338 foreign. 60.9%

Football is a results game, if you're good enough you'll get a contract, regardless of nationality. These Brits that Chelsea played during their transfer ban didn't pick up the sport that season, they were already established professionals because they were good enough.

Also, you've even said yourself down the leagues there's much more Brits so what's this nonsense about British kids not getting a chance

While out in Saudi the media were trying to promote Indian football.

One intellectual Indian wrote back to the media explaining this: " Us Indians have been given opportunities over the last few decades to go to University and most of us that have gone that route have been given further opportunities to enhance their education by private investment, Government initiatives and other such high profile well respected organisations. This has resulted in your average intellect Indian being sorted for their services worldwide.
So todays Indian is far more advanced in its thinking than say 50 years ago thanks to the initiatives put out their for us to take advantage of. We now have gained a respect for our intelligence worldwide so why insult it by putting our football on the telly because we all know that it is crap".

Would you prefer to go back to the 90s where players like Marco Gabbiadini played in the top league.

The premier league has improved significantly because of the influx of quality foreign players. It’s now having an impact on yhr national side. Look at the England forward line. If they had a manager who could get them as a team it would be frightening.
