Jonny Williams looked ok as well

Smithies saved a penalty

68th min Lee Tomlin was replaced by Ryan Kavanagh, Tomlin still along way to go before fully match fitness.

Excellent performance , dominated from start to finish.
Defence hardly tested , due to the dominance of city,s midfield.

Great for some first teamers to get a run out. Should get Harris & Watters on bench for Saturday surely.

Enjoyed that Tomlin had a few good passes and hit the crossbar, but was totally knackered in the second-half, was huffing, puffing, so he was replaced by Kavanagh. Tomlin long way to go for McCarthy match fitness

Cheers mate. There's only one thing to do to improve match fitness I suppose. Good that his minutes on the pitch are going up and even better that there are no injuries.

You could see it, we had the men and Watford played mainly kids, good match fitness though, especially for Tomlin, he looks like he really needs it.

Difficult to see what more Watters has to do in terms of scoring goals to get a run out for the first team. That's four goals in two under 23s games ro add to his 16 in 19 games for Crawley.
