I cannot understand mick was keen to bring him in he's fit to play but cannot get a game i rate him more than rals because he is attack minded midfielder not a defensive midfielder he's not a prolific scorer but what midfielders are but he always creates chances by his movements in trying to get into the box by running at defenses i though he could have come on 2nd half at huddersfield in place of rals to beef up the attacking option or Bacuna for that matter who imo opinion should have kept his place after to goals against derby instead of rals

prolific...he hardly scores at all or creates ,its why Bowyer was so frustrated by him and let him go..
possibly Mick sees it as more long term in the hope he can coach him to be more effective where others have failed...

I think Skidemin has a point.

Williams has ability and he has showed that through his career. when he first came on the Wales scene he looked promising. He then went backwards but for the Euros 2016 he was back to his best. Since then though he has gone backwards.

Hopefully MM will get that back what we saw in the beginning.

thank you...
yes mate there are plenty of articles where Bowyer has shown his frustration re JWs lack of effectiveness in games and how much time theyve spent trying to correct that.... they { Charlton/ Bowyer } obviously thought taking him on a free was a decent gamble and they could get more out of him....but failed..and just as obviously { a allowing him to go for nothing } eventually gave up....... none of his game stats stand up against any of our midfielders none.. not even close... so yeah, maybe Mick also seeing that the boy clearly does have atributes { and has had some of his better moments playing for Mick } has brought him here to work on....
as for the give it a rest...its not me constantly poorly comparing decent players who are effective and do put a shift FOR US to someone who has done next to nothing for 10 years on the strength of being Welsh...
