Barnsley

Barnsley’s run in is by far the easiest one on paper. They could even push for automatics with the way they are playing. I think there could be lots of changes in the play off places before the last game. We must keep the momentum going :ayatollah:

As we all know, this is the championship, where on a given day,top can beat bottom! Plenty of twists to come, they still have bournemouth, reading, and boro to play, plus a couple of Yorkshire derbys,so anything can,and most likely will happen. Its getting close to squeaky bum time  :old: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

And Norwich, lets see how we all cope with a few more injuries it's a squad game towards the end of the season.

I have a feeling that Reading will slip up too.

I've given up predicting things in this league.

It's the Championship and anything could happen, as we've seen so many times before.

Everyone will slip up between now and the end of the season, including us.

There could even be a team nobody has even thought about yet.

Who knows? Us and Barnsley could both be in the top six or we could both have peaked too soon.

That was jacks first of 4 games in 10 days hopefully they'll slip up .

That's the way I see it - April they play 5 games v the Top 8 as we stand today .

We have 4 in the top 6 to play, Reading, Watford, Swansea and Brentford. I don't think any of those are relishing to play us.

We just need to keep the momentum playing as I believe those above us will drop points against each other. Play off place is now realistic.

We are now entering the “business end” of the season

This is where squad strength/injuries/suspension’s really start to kick in

Some teams/players are probably already running on empty and carrying knocks, strains etc

We all know how the championship works, every team can beat each other

This is where the experienced managers earn their money, knowing when to rotate their squad. MM has been in this position countless times and that alone is going to improve our chances of reaching the play offs

Good post mate.
We’ve rested 2 of our front three midweek and May possibly fo the same Friday. Nice problem to have.
If we come through unscathed on Friday everyone can have a full weeks break too.....and then another week off after the Saturday game (some of our rivals will be playing midweek)

Where the hell did Barnsley come from? Didn’t even pay them any attention until a week ago. The good thing is they have Bournemouth, reading and boro to play so chance for them all to take points off each other. Anyway let’s at least enjoy a playoff hunt that looked completely impossible 6 weeks ago.

After what has been a sh1t year for me (as it has for lots of others) Im just enjoying the thrill of it all.

I think most teams will be happy with a draw against us rather than risk getting beat (never thought I'd say that this season).

There are teams ahead of us who may get into the automatic places, we'll be lucky just to get in the play off places. Dont care where we finish in the playoffs though. It's just nice to have something to play for.

Sure McCarthy will just be concentrating on Cardiff getting results. What other teams do is out of Cardiff’s control. Can’t wait for tomorrow already! :ayatollah:

In all reality, as much as those teams in and around us won last night, we still improved our goal difference compared to all of theirs (we’re currently 14 goals better off than Barnsley). Yes there’s a long way to go, but any gain - no matter how small, could be important.

Just thoroughly enjoying it right now :thumbright:.

Since Mick has arrived and don't forget after seven straight losses he has taken us to the top of the League on current form an unbelievable achievement :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Well Done Mick, Terry and all the team.

Don't worry about who we are playing, they will be worrying more about us  :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
