There were calls for big names to be appointed to replace the hapless Neil Harris.
There is a school of thought that if CCFC were able to maintain the form of the last 10 games over the course of a full season we would collect a total of 110 points which would surpass anything in the records, thats how good this team has suddenly become and I take my hat off to both MM and TC for the amazing job they done in turning around the worse team in the league to the best team in the league in 40 short days, I salute the both of you and thank you![]()

I don’t remember anyone slating Tan for bringing Big Micke to our club as Tan was dead set against it and never had anything to do with his appointment. I said that then and it was only through desperation and Dalman showing Tan City were on their way down devaluing our club by at least half. So Tan agreed on a 6mths contract for Big Mick.
For me as I have always stated I am a fan of Malky, Warnock and McCarthy and those are the only managers to bring success to Cardiff in the last 11 yrs.![]()

1st two yes Annis, but Mick has turned the form around, but success? Not quite yet.because if we say getting to play offs is success this year, then Harris would have to be deemed successful for last year, meaning he has to be included in those last 11 years, not having a pop, just being honest.![]()

Paul, to this day, how Neil Harris got us to the play=offs I will never know, I dont believe in luck, but I do think we handled it better than many other clubs the chaos of the virus at the time. Harris I will say again is a League 1 manager.
In my opinion we were free fall towards League 1 under Harris, 5pts frpm the bottom 3, Rotherham had 2 games in hand and we were about to play them. We were getting beaten week in week out and awful football.
The success Big Mick has brought us so far is:
1. Saved Cardiff City from relegation![]()

2. 10 match unbeaten run, 7 wins / 3 draws
3. Exciting matches & football improved beyond
4. Fans united again
5.Players are now playing for our club / unity.

But we were never in the relegation zone under Harris. That’s what is said about Malky in the premier league despite us getting beaten week in and week out and awful football.
But you are 100% right about Mick Annis. You backed him from day one.
I remember someone putting a YouTube video on of an interview he did and it gave me a fluffy feeling.

Totally different Neil and you know it.
Malky still had the team united and behind him, BUT had Tan on his back 24/7, but was still able to get some results.
Fans were mostly still behind Malky![]()

Neil Harris for a fact had completely lost the dressing room and was on a run of defeats, 6 in a row behind him and more before then and 99% of fans against him.
