Have we adopted this style of play made famous by Klopp, Tuchel, Bielsa and co?
Link below describing the gegenpress and it sounds very similar to how we’re playing at the moment. High energy closing down at the right time and winning the ball high up the pitch. It seems we have the players to play this type of style and it’s taking the championship by storm.
People though MM was a dinosaur but is he implementing one of the most modern and successful ways of playing? Has his teams always played like this or has he adopted new tactics?
