Take a look at the Derby matchthread on their forum. Some guy said he thought he must have been a pensioner/volunteer as he didn't have a clue what was going on. Made me laugh.

Absolutely agree, he was dire,worst I have ever heard.
I don't believe he was actually there,I think he was watching it via a video link somewhere.

Thought the entire coverage was poor. Bad commentator and the camera only seemed to show the match from a distance,no replays either. Much prefer to watch it on I follow than the red button. It's ok when we are the main match but not the red button.

Totally agree. Red button coverage is piss poor with no close ups, it's like watching the game through binoculars the wrong way round! Crap.

thats how it sounded to me too... someone brought out of retirement and sat infront of a tv somewhere.. Ralls coming in on fresh from his appearance in the east mids derby was class.....
