Perry NG and others worth a lot

Tue Mar 02, 2021 9:00 pm

Enjoy him while we can. Won’t be with us long. Gonna be selling him for £10 million plus.

Suddenly we have some players worth quite a bit of money.

Amazing the impact a manager who instills confidence can have.

Really is.

NG looked quality from his first game though.

Crewe were right. Our offer was a piss take.

Not wrong there on either count. But I dare say this style from mick is a multiplier. Moore as well has gone up another gear.

Moore and Ng are both going to return a very good profit.

Moore will go in the summer. If we somehow get promoted, we might just hold on to him so that teams can see him in the Premier League before they take the chance.

We might be able to keep hold of Ng for another year.

They are two of the most valuable players we've owned for a long time.

Massively agree with that.

If we go up Ng will do well in the premier league I think.

A lot didn’t think Moore was a good signing at no more than 2 million and 22k a week

Vaulks is another whose stock is on the up. He scraps for every ball and has a screamer of a goal in him.

Harris certainly made some great signings, it’s a pity he couldn’t get his tactics right, seemed to get caught out when trying to change to a procession game and became too defensive!

Harris was responsible for none of Moore, NG, Watters and/or Dillon Phillips ;)

...and as effective as he is for us, I’m not sure he’d automatically fit into many top teams’ way of playing.
Please don’t take that as a negative post on KM as it’s certainly not meant to be. :bluescarf:

He’s at the right club, at the right time.

Reading the thread on him, he always wanted to come here, he could fire us into the prem & stay with us, or if we dont get promoted, we have to see if offers come in, and the club then decides on whether to sell, if the offer is deemed really good,we will probably cash in, but lets enjoy him while he is ours. :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

There are clubs in the premier league who would use him. He’s not going to a top club but mid range.

He has shown lately a touch that I don’t think anyone knew he had. And he’s not a slug.

If he has a good Euros we might struggle to keep him.

We would get a decent price for him though.

That's true - they were all spotted by Vinny from Malaysia with his encyclopeadic knowledge of lower league football!

A few more like those please Mr T!

Well if he wasn't it must have been the much maligned transfer committee :o

I wonder what a few critics of that set-up have to say about that

He'd walk into the WBA, Palace, Burnley, Brighton, Sheff Utd, Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton first teams now in my opinion.

WBA probably
Palace he’s not better then Benteke
Burnley have Chris Wood and Vydra
Brighton probably
Sheff Utd have Brewster
Leeds Bamford
Newcastle Wilson
Southampton Ings

He would be in squads though for sure. Like I said a good Euros would really bump up his value.

Why are we talking about the value of our players. I would rather we kept them and get us promoted. That is where the real money is. 100s of millions not just a few for the short term. :bluescarf:

Because there have been tonnes of posts in the past about the value of assets at the club vs money spent.

Suddenly those assets are worth a lot more.

WBA probably Definitely !!
Palace he’s not better then Benteke Really !!?? That's the Benteke who has scored 8 goals in the last 4 seasons
Burnley have Chris Wood and Vydra They play Wood and, actually Moore is more mobile and better on the floor. They also have Barnes and I would say Barnes would be a better player alongside Moore b
Brighton probably Definitely, massively struggling for goals Maupay is top scorer with 7 and Moore offers more in all aspects
Sheff Utd have Brewster Yes, and they don't pick him because he's been so disappointing, are you really arguing that McBurnie or McGoldrick are better than Moore
Leeds Bamford Yes, got me on that one. However, back-up is Tylor Roberts and Moore is picked ahead of hm for Wales so certainly would get a fairly regular game !!
Newcastle Wilson Wilson would be well suited to playing alongside Moore, he's certainly a better option than Joelinton and Andy Carroll who normally play alongside him
Southampton Ings they play with two upfront and Ings plays alongside Che Adams who has scored 4 goals all season !!

Not many teams play two up front.

How many of the players you have said Moore is better than would rip apart the championship?

Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of Moore but better than Benteke? Nah.
