MY VIEW / OPINION:

WAYNE ROONEY TOTALLY OUT SMARTED BY BIG MICKS TROJANS :bluebird: :bluebird:

Wayne Rooneys Multi million £ team outclassed by Big Micks team :thumbright:

10 games undefeated, 7 wins & 3 draws :bluebird: :bluebird:

City just totally dominated from the first min to 90 mins :bluebird: :bluebird:

City playing the best football for years :bluebird: :bluebird:

Rooney's Derby County, totally not in the game tonight, Micks Trojans just smashed them.

And Kieffer Moores 16th goal of the season :bluebird: :bluebird:

First-Half: City dominated the and could of been 3nil up by half-time, great stuff :bluebird: :bluebird:

Second:Half: City were running riot and completely out playing Derby.

CARDIFF CITY 4 DERBY COUNTY 0 :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:
H-T 1-0

Cardiff City: Phillips; Morrison, Flint, Nelson; Ng, Vaulks, Pack, Bacuna, Bennett; Ojo, Moore.

Subs: Smithies, Bagan, Ralls, Williams, Wilson, Colwill, Murphy, Hoilett, Harris.

First 15mins totally dominated by Cardiff, creating numerous chances :bluebird: :bluebird:

Derby made Phillips made Phillips make a good save.

24min: GOAL! Cardiff City 1-0 Derby County (Bacuna ) :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Goal! What a lovely finish from Bacuna. Well Deserved. :bluebird:

Moore layed the ball out to Bennett on the left wing and the defender slides an inch-perfect ball down the channel and into Bacuna's path. He hits it low and hard from a tight angle and it's under Kelle Roos and into the net.

Cardiff City totally dominated, Kieffer Moore, 3 good chances, should of had a penalty hand ball.

39th min Not good at all

Bennett stretchered off

Joe Bennett off, Joel Bagan on.

City should of gone in 3nil up at least.

H-T 1-0 :bluebird: :bluebird:

48th min GOAL! Cardiff City 2-0 Derby County (Moore )

Goal! Moore!

Flint did well to earn the corner and Vaulks swung it into the near post, where Moore met it and thudded home the header! :bluebird: :bluebird:

56th min GOAL! Cardiff City 3-0 Derby County (Bacuna )

Goal! What a strike! :bluebird: :bluebird:

Ojo layed the ball into Bacuna's path and he smacked it with his left foot from 20 yards, bending into the far corner. City running riot here. :bluebird: :bluebird:

70th min Wayne Rooney did a Quadruple sub for Derby. Bird, Watson, McDonald and Waghorn all on.

Waghorn's free-kick was tipped behind for a corner by Phillips, a rare attack by Derby.

Just one sided by City :bluebird: :bluebird:

Marlon Pack off, Joe Ralls on.

Sheyi Ojo off, Jonny Williams on.

87th min @Joe_Ralls on! Jonny makes his debut! as well.

Cardiff City 4-0 Derby County (Vaulks 90+4)

What a goal! 4-0! Vaulks with a screamer! :bluebird: :bluebird:

From the first minute, we went on the front foot and deserved the three points.

Another very good performance.

Good performances all round again.

That was Mick's 999th game in management and it shows how much experience counts for.

Great win and keeps the pressure on those around us, before they play tomorrow :ayatollah:

City rampant. Outplayed Derby from the first minute to the last. Another top display as Mick McCarthy's Bluebirds juggernaut marches on. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Throw all your modern coaching badges in the bin they are bloody worthless..... :old:

Suckerball......No way are Derby that poor but asking championship (just) defenders to play like they are Virgil Van Dyke is suicide. It was like watching Harrisball :o

Got our lads doing what they are good at....simples

Genuinely think we’ll struggle to put in a better performance than that all season, incredible.

I think one of the most impressive things was they way that Ojo and Bacuna just slotted in, it was as if they’d played those roles all season.

So many great performances again, and that Will Vaulks strike, well :notworthy: :ayatollah:.

A great win for the Bluebirds in a game I honestly thought Derby would do a lot better in...

The previously tired looking Bluebirds were at it right from the start and in a reversal of the latter games of the Neil Harris era, the Bluebirds have found the habit of going in front early on rather than behind...

Mick McCarthy has instilled confidence and determination into his players and he must be applauded. Whilst being supportive and humorous around the place, it seems he is not afraid to voice his disdain for anyone who doesn't toe the line and carry out his instructions

If talk is to be listened to, he was directly responsible for the improved performance of the Under 23's against Charlton Athletic a day or two ago and it wasn't through gentle persuasion!

Right manager, right time and the run goes on...! :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :D

What a performance that was, unbelievable shift put in by the team especially the front 3 they didn't stop all game.

I know Derby had a few players missing and rested a few but so did we. Not going to lie I was concerned when Bacuna was starting in an attacking role but fairplay that's his best performance in a City shirt by a mile.

Absolutely buzzing after that, another great team performance, Murphy and Wilson got some rest time and the players that stepped took their chance.

Only sour note was Bennett's injury but Bagan is a more than capable replacement. Looks a bad one for Bennett so hopefully Bagan can stay injury free.

Good post mate.
Who’s the front 3 for Friday I wonder.

Great to have options. IMO when everyone is 100% fit Wilson, Moore and Ojo are the best 3 but it's hard to drop Bacuna after that showing.

He'll want to get one over his brother Friday aswell so give him another go.

Derby were poor tonight and the team they put out was not their best 11. I just have the feeling Rooney put out a weak team because with his best 11 he was not expecting anything from this game. He did say he gave other chances to prove themselves. I bet those others are not thanking him for putting them against the inform team in the division.

Even though it was a weak team we saw them of as good as we could have. I don't think their best 11 would have prevented that score. perhaps Rooney was right by giving some of that 11 a rest.
