Now there's experience for you... Am sure you have stories?
Gone A over T down those metal steps at Ton Pentre, used the wrong pitch markings at FP Pontllanffraith where rugby and football pitches overlapped. Ran the line to a ref in luminous pink gloves cos a match was so foggy, and he thought it was the only way is see him. ( he sent someone off first half and I swear I didn't even know).
Done a schoolboy international where the Welsh captain thought he was Bryn Terfel, as an Aussie film crew panned the line ups, I was cracking up with the rest of his teammates.
Had some great times. I gave up and went back. Big mistake, Cos I was right first time round, should never have gone back.
My last game was down Bridgend St, great set up there, but often a tough venue
