Seems he is getting back to match fitness and his class is showing, which is great news for Wales ahead of this summer's Euros

Fair play to him.

I wrote him off a few weeks ago and said he was finished.

But he's been very good in the first quarter of this game.

Good movement for his goal and a great cross field pass to assist Harry Kane.

I have to hold my hand up and say that I doubted his ability to bounce back but those stats are impressive. Great for Wales.

I did, as I said above.

Not having a go at you or others on here who stook up for him, but I've seen people on social media having a go at those who doubted him - I don't think that's fair.

He returned to Spurs in the Summer and only over the last few games has he been performing to a high standard.

Before that, he was absolutely dreadful.

A few weeks ago against Brighton, he looked like a player who wouldn't even get a game in League Two.

He looked to have poor attitude.

It's rather impressive that he's picked up his game again and changed his attitude for the better.

Chris I watched him against Brighton and thought he was terrible in fact he almost looked disinterested. Different player completely yesterday and it looks perfect timing for both Spurs and Wales.

Chris I’ve always had a soft spot for Spurs ever since I was a kid but I can’t stand Mourinho!

I’ve watched most of Bales performances since he returned to Spurs and I think he has a way to go yet considering he done ok against a mid table Austrian team and very well against a completely useless Burnley side.

Great to see him getting closer to where he once was!

Gareth will always be my 2nd favourite baller after Ramsey, just wish he was able to talk in a more relaxed manner in his 30's, cos it takes away from his successes....obviously

Yeah no obviously, if he keeps the form up we'd be in a better position, obviously

In fairness to him, he's been stuck in front of a camera all his life and some take to it, others revert to what they've been taught
