Hmmmm? Some great goals and attacking play in the winning ru

Sat Feb 27, 2021 7:47 pm

Some great goals and attacking play in the winning run :thumbright: but the last two games have been about the defence. Superb effort on the road, Bournemouth to Boro In a few days 4 points :thumbright: :bluebird:

9 games, 6 wins and 3 draws :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

When you consider Cardiff travelled from one end of the country to the other in the last few days, for two tough games, I can’t fault them. I would have taken a point going in to the game :thumbright: :bluebird:

Big Mick even said this week some of the first team are worn out and feeling it.

Some of our players look totally knackered , theses last 9 games they’ve all given 110% and with many players now returning from injury and a few young good young guns.

We looked shattered, time to rotate?

Annis we we dog shit but ended 1-1 which no one can complain,I felt MM didn’t utilise his subtitles wisely.

Defensively we've been outstanding these last couple of games.

But I agree that our attacking players have looked tired, which is why I think Murphy and Wilson have been substituted relatively early these past two games.

The good thing is we have more players coming back from injury with Hoilett and Ralls on the bench today.

I won't be surprised to see a few changes on Tuesday, due to the tiredness.

Moore also needs a test and it won't shock me if Mark Harris plays instead of him on Tuesday.

At some point, we will have to rest our key players for a game - I think that will be either on Tuesday or Friday.

Can see the likes of Ojo, Hoilett, Ralls and Harris starting in place of Wilson, Murphy, Vaulks/Pack and Moore. Maybe even Bagan for Bennett or Ng.

The three centre backs seem alright, and played very well today.

Bryanna,

Honestly not complaining at all even Big Mick has stated players like Kieffer Moore are knackered.

I thought we should of used them earlier today.

Happy with draw though .

A wasted chance to get 3 points. A tad fortunate to be 1 up but having done so should have gone for gold at start of 2nd half. Inevitable they’d equalise given we just spent the whole 2nd half - if not the whole game- heading and kicking it anywhere.
Where was the counter attacking?
Still a brilliant month for the club and beforehand I’d have taken a point BUT reiterate as the game panned out there were 3 points there for us.

The 3 full backs and Goalkeeper have been exceptional. Kieffer played well but he did look jaded. Could we afford to rest him right now though? I expect Ralls to come in for possibly Pack. I think the defence has to stay the same really

We have had 10 different players finding the back of the net since ( MM ) as 1 poster pointed out on here earlier this week .

As we go on this is where the squad comes into play :bluebird:

Yesterday was the game I was most worried about, we were up against another Wiley operator at this level who knows us inside out. A good draw all things considered. However I agree with mick a few of our lads looked absolutely shattered. I think we may see a few changes Tuesday night it’s just a shame we didn’t get a striker in January.

Personally I would’ve put Williams on before Ralls, we went defensive and hence why Boro were bombarding us which ultimately led to their goal. I’m quite happy with a point up there though under the circumstances.
Now let’s go smash Snowgate County and get back to winning ways :ayatollah:

I wouldn’t have Ralls in the team right now and certainly not at Pack’s expense. I don’t think Ralls is 100% at the minute so no way would I start him.

What sort of changes? If he’s going to always play 5 at the back then the changes can only be in midfield.
Maybe yesterday he should have gone 3 in midfield like them as we had very little possession and when we did we did nothing with it with some poor passing. And our wing backs didn’t get up as often as in previous games.
