about Mick McCarthy? I certainly am.

I have been pleasantly surprised, I thought we were going to get Warnock Ball on steroids when we appointed Big Mick, especially as we needed to stop the rot. I thought we would get safety first, defensive football, isolated lone striker and play with a draw first, hope to nick a winner from a set piece mentality which we saw under Warnock and the way Mick set up his Ipswich team last time he managed in this division.

However, the change of shape with wing backs and playing the wingers inside behind the striker has worked a treat so far. Yes we still rely on set pieces to a certain to a degree but its one of our strengths so why not? but we have also scored some lovely goals from open play.

I was dreading the thought of Mick doing well enough to get a longer deal but now I think jts a no brainer.

I admit i was wrong.

I was wrong. No big deal though as I'm normally wrong on most things

Half wrong.

I was less worried about MM as it was short term and with Kiefer back with an experienced bloke like MM i though we'd be safe.

I blew a gasket with 3 centre halfs, and pack as i thought he'd gone mental.

But i work in a factory and MM is a football professional.

I just want us to stop having the big "name" manager who buys players from his mates or worse. They should have a say but thats all. If Klopp doesn't do it a Liverpool then its a decent and successful model.

The solution he came arrived at with the players he has inherited demonstrates he subtlety and nounce and its decent to watch. Not many teams do a Man city or Barca unless you have the players to do it and we don't.

Not over impressed at his appointment, but never doubted we were too strong to go down (regardless of who took us over after harris) but knew hand on heart he would keep us up for sure.
Wrong? Well did I expect this sort of turnaround,no so maybe wrong? Who cares ,if he hasn't won over any doubters left, he never will

I can honestly say was glad he was appointed from the beginning even posting on this board when it was rumoured he was coming that I hoped he would join us
I have also posted on here and I will now again he took two teams up from the championship to the premier league as CHAMPIONS could not get the anti MM at the time of his appointment
Anyway glad to see so many posters saying they were wrong and everyone getting behind him and now backing him
