Falling in love with football again

Wed Feb 24, 2021 9:55 pm

Well done to Mick, his team and the players.

I've been really looking forward to this game since Sunday, and can't wait for Saturday. Can't remember when I felt like this last.

On a separate note, such was the effort put in tonight, really feel that changes will be needed for Saturday. Moore will need to play, let's hope he keeps his fitness and strength up.

Ralls, Bacuna, Ojo, Hoilett, Williams are all fresh, and I bet raring to get into the side.

Exaxtly how I feel. The nerves I had in the last 20 minutes is something I haven't felt for quite a while, it all seems to matter again. Thank you Mick and TC.

It's a conundrum for MM.

They say if it's not broke don't fix it. 6 wins in a row. Why change a winning team?
On the other had, there's got to be tired legs out there. We don't want to get injuries or anyone to burn out.

Exactly the problem Harris had v Swansea this season or Warnock had the season we went up v Preston away. Change or not to change.

What a run with all the doom and gloom around football still has the ability to change your mood for the better,

hats off to the team and management a fantastic surprise. :bluescarf:

That first half performance was amazing especially when you consider the opposition.

After their initial first 10 mins we steamrollered them. We sat back a bit after 60 mins but we closed the game out well.

Football is a simple game played by simple people. Mick like Warnock has taken all the bollox out of it.

Special mention to Josh and Harry, i thought they ran their heart out yesterday. They are quicker than their replacements so all those sprints take their effect.

Yep a lot of our fans seem to love football when we are winning.

We very much have a lot of fickle fans.

Nobody can honestly say they were enjoying or looking forward to any games this season under Harris.

Of course not as we were losing.

It’s not like it’s unusual.

Look at our crowds when we win. They spike. When we lose they go down.

:ayatollah: I am really enjoying it :ayatollah:

I had Bournemouth commentary last night and they couldn't believe our work rate, they kept saying how many have they got on the pitch, every time we get the ball we have three players around us, and every time we break they have five at the back, how can they also have five up front all of the time, it was a joy to hear!

They were obviously biased as all are but at the end they were firm the best team won and thank God we won't have to play any other team like that again Cardiff are unique. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All true that team gave 100%, well done boys, well done McCarthy :occasion5: :ayatollah:
