" SO ONCE AGAIN WE HAVE TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO NEIL WARNOCK "

Fair play Warnock saved us from relegation / then got us promoted / brought in well over £200 Million to our Club & left us with some very good players.

We know Warnock made a few bad transfers, but the Success Warnock brought to our club, followed by the money which he brought in which also saved this season with parachute payments, far out weighs any bad transfers :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

And now thanks to Neil Warnock, telling Big Mick McCarthy about us and saying to him we were the type of club that would suit him and then highly recommending Big Mick to Dalman/Choo and saying "if you want to avoid relegation asap then the perfect person for the job is Mick McCarthy and he can do it without any money " :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Tan was not interested at all, but due to the final game v QPR under Harris where apparently Harris exploded on the the team and everything turned upside down in the dressing room, then followed by our 6th consecutive defeat, Tan was told to look at hard at the Championship Table, we were really staring at the bottom 3, with Rotherham 5pts behind behind us, 2 games in hand and having to play us and the way we were, the odds were we would of been beaten by them.

Tan was told the value of our club would be immediately cut in half if we were relegated.
Tan was all for Neil Harris and was determined to keep him, but his hands were forced to get rid and thankfully his hands were forced by the QPR defeat and in came BIG MICK, not only has Big Mick saved us from a relegation battle but put us on the verge of the play-offs :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Big Mick said, he only had a minutes conversation with Tan, so never really discussed anything, he just got straight in to the job and performed miracles making these players believe in themselves, bringing unity and changing our style of play and 2 draws, followed by 5 consecutive wins :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I bet we start hearing from Tan now

Also lets not forget Big Micks backroom staff, Assistant Manager Terry Connor,:thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

But Neil please let us have the 3pts this Saturday  :thumbright: :bluebird:

Sorry but what a load of rubbish! MM has worked wonders so far, much like Harris did getting us to the play offs. Warnock is a coward, he assembled a bum squad realised it and left us before the milk turned sour.

MM has worked out our strengths and got us going, fair play to him for that and long may it continue, but, all this praise be to Warnock is sickening. The squad still isn’t great but the system suits us at the minute and the players obviously happier under MM so hopefully we can challenge. No one to be afraid of at the minute so it’s all positive but Warnock isn’t here so I won’t be thanking him.

Warnock resigning showed great integrity in my eyes. Could of waited to be sacked like most pro managers do. Yes it was going wrong and he did the right thing

Does it matter who Mr Tan took advice from? He took advice from people who knew more about the situation than he did. That’s why the guy is a billionaire. He listens to trusted advice and makes the final decision. So what if Warnock recommended McCarthy?

It’s Mr Tan’s decision, not Warnock’s, and he should be given credit for making that decision.

The anti-Tan agenda on here goes too far at times. Be careful what you wish for. :bluebird:

Are we not allowed to say how it all happened???
Is it a Dictatorship?

Tan was totally against Big Mick coming and ignored advice for weeks and only listened when he was told City would lose half their value.

Tan in football has only lost and wasted money in football and the clubs money big time, so No I don’t rate or respect his business sense on City at all and the facts are there.

And always blames everyone else.

Away from football I totally Respect his business sense :thumbright: :thumbright:

I wish for anyone but Tan :D :bluebird:

Annis, I know you won't agree but I actually think we are the club we are now partly down to Dave Jones.

I would suggest he had a impact on us as a club than Warnock.

But I also say Neil Warnock and Malky Mackay are the two who have brought us the greatest success over the past 15 years obviously.

Malky will be remembered as the manager who first took us into the Premier League.

Warnock should always be remembered as the manager who took over a team in crisis, and nearly kept us up in the Premier League. If a few decisions had gone our way, it would have ended very differently.

But who knows, maybe Mick would have taken the job and we would have offered him the job without Warnock's suggestion.

Either way, I hope Warnock and his team put in a terrible performance on Saturday

He (Warnock) left us when it was going south on him and he left sharpish. I’ve always said he worked wonders getting us up but there after speaks for itself.

MM deserves credit for for what he’s done and Warnock did not give MM the job our board gave him the job. Our cracking squad of Warnock players are who exactly?

Great promotion season under him, he bought players for a bounce back and realised he got it wrong and left. His kind of club until he decided it wasn’t.

Although, a question I’ve asked many many times with zero answer, what excellent players did he buy that worked out under him? Not who is doing it now under MM but what stand out players did we have in the season he left us? Answers please.

I think once again we should be thanking tan. Whichever way you look at it. Thank him for appointing warnock and that then leading to MM appointment. Which wouldn’t have happened if tan didn’t appoint warnock first. His decision on the whole have been tremendous of success of getting to the premier league is what you go by. For me as I’ve said before enjoyed it more in the lower leagues.

It all starts and ends with tan. Everything the club has achieved is down to tan. No one else.

Mr Potato wrote:Sorry but what a load of rubbish!

Warnock is no coward and even today our squad is heavily influenced by his signings. He got us promoted when it seemed impossible and he nearly managed to keep us in the PL despite having the smallest budget in PL history. Annis is right he brought £200m into this club despite the odd poor signing. But on Saturday Flint, Nelson, Pack, Vaulks, Murphy , Smithies and Bacuna were ALL NW signings and not doing to bad for us.

The Sala tragedy had a massive impact on NW and he needed a break from football to get back to being NW. As far as I'm concerned NW can do no wrong an absolute legend but I hope we stuff the bugger the weekend.

Sky Sports:

Warnock was on sky yesterday saying he had set the way for Mick McCarthy to get the job at Cardiff City :bluebird:
& Vincent Tan in the morning stated without saying Warnocks name(lol) that Mick had been highly recommended to them.
