Once was practically anonymous, as he has been the last few times he played against us.

He had a few decent seasons at the start of his career, but now he's not anything special.

We tried to sign him , he came here with his Dad on the train. It was looking good - then he went and signed for BlackPool.
Always in it for the money rather than his career. Never really fulfilled his potential, or maybe he did - and actualyt wasnt that good. Playing for Luton at the wrong end of the championship is probably not what he had in mind at this stage of his career.

Cardiff wasn't a big enough opportunity for him at the time as he was destined for bigger things. I wonder how that's working out for him?

In fairness, he did look destined for big things when he was at Blackpool. I was gutted when he turned us down, but since then his career has stagnated. Dodged a bullet there.

no mate Blackpool had just been relegated when he signed for them.. 2 seasons later after we had won promotion we offered the 8 mill.....
