Today I’ve been speaking to the father of Swansea city football fan Mitchell Powell who has passed away recently and his funeral is on Saturday after reading the comments from above and the fact that Ollie mcburnie has offered to pay for the funeral then read seen another article on Facebook from Mitchell sister it was brought to my attention last night who the boys father his
I worked with Mitchell dad at Fairwood fabrications in port talbot and I can honestly say his dad is a fantastic bloke a big Swansea fan and a true lover of football Mitchell dad to his credit always took an interest and was always asking me about Cardiff city to be honest we talked football all the time like myself he followed the swans everywhere like I do with Cardiff and had no time for the gorlyhunters .we had a long chat today about his son and how is son passed away his lad did a lot for charity and also helped out with his local football team as well has following Swansea city Mitchell was only 26 years of age .even though I spoke to his dad today I still can’t imagine what the family are going through even though Cardiff and Swansea are bitter rivals at the best of time there are times in life where rivalry has to be put to one side because a life is more important than football rivalry .I truly hope the family can get through this terrible time they are going through with the support they are getting from there family and friends and the Swansea’city fans rip Mitchell Powell a true Swansea jack
