Managers "Honeymoon" period.

Sun Feb 14, 2021 11:27 am

We have all heard the term "Honeymoon" period, in relation to new managers, but my question is..

How long do it last or when it is deemed to be over?

Is it after his first loss?
After a certain amount of games?
After so many weeks?

I have noticed on Planet Swamp, they reckon we will be out of our Honeymoon period soon and the effect of said period will be
over? (according to them they have won the double without kicking a ball)
Not saying our run will be another 5/6 games, but what if it does?
I know it's all opinions and a bit mythical I suppose, so what are your opinions?

Once we get promoted via playoffs and lose our first away game next season.

Then we dig in.

;)

Fully expect us to lose on Tuesday. We looked knackered at the end of yesterday. However, McCarthy is doing exactly what I wanted, steady the ship, get us competing and making us safe. Play off talk is daft, we are not good enough.
