I've heard there's a good crack up North, but failing that you can always drown your sorrows with a quick snifter in a nearby alley. Thanks a lot NML :laughing6:

Opposition teams won’t get a sniff against Boro this season.

If had worn a skirt and scored the winner he would have been the heroine.

On a seroius note I do hope he's found a way out of this dark place he was in. Yes , he let everyone down badly.

But lets hope for his family sake he's come through it. I wish him all the best. He's got a small kid as well.

Dark place? Where has it been said he was in a dark place? And yes he has a small baby, so should have thought of that before his actions? I get addictions are he'll, but he seemed ok whilst in dubai at every opportunity :?
I don't wish him any harm, just feel badly let down,as he was one of my fave players, and also the kids looked up to him as a role model.
Seems to me an easy way out of your contract, have a sniff, serve a small ban, come back as a free agent, sign on for a wedge somewhere else :o :old: :bluebird:

I totally agree with 62.

The serious note of all of this is that he has ripped our club off to induldge in his own pleasures. I'm all for helping out people in strife but all his Dubai trips proves he is not in that bracket.

To add insult to injury he hasn't even publicly apologised to the club, and more importantly to the fans.

tbh mate i cant see clubs including Boro falling over themselves to give him a lucrative contract... if ive read the dates correctly he was banned August 14th until November 14th... so almost 3 months of being a free agent but no club... was that nobody was quite prepared to take a risk ? then at the end of the window with deals falling flat , as happens to most the attention switched to NML. i dont know but i can imagine its not been as straight forward as him stepping back in and being better off.. Boros board and infact NW must have their fingers crossed it doesnt bite them too ..caught twice in the same season suggests it being more of a problem than occasional social use.. not sure what contract he has but id be shocked if its long term or on the money that he was on here...

Was just hoping people like this get professional help to kick the habbit. Im not a professional in this field but I guess there rehabilitation programmes run by clubs.

Not saying he is on as much,or more tbf,but he would have got a signing on wedge as a "free" agent? Which seems unjust if thats the case!
City have been "done" and not one word of apology to club or fans, shows absolutely, the lad has no moral compass whatsoever!

Irrespective of him doing a job for us etc, the club did try and support but he failed again.

Not a scrap of remorse, no apology,no compensation,no thought for his kid, family nor us fans and his paymasters.

Disgrace. Good riddance to disgusting behaviour.
