SO EXCITED

I'm 55 ( yes I know, I don't look a day over 54 ) been around the block more than a few times, had a full life to say the least, thought I'd seen it all and done it all before, but I am counting down the hours to the next kick off and I'm more excited than I can put into words.

Even for the cup final and play off final I didn't let myself get too excited, possibly as a self protection mode, always had the feeling at the back of my mind that it wasn't quite our time, but I am now hoping, no I'm actually believing that it is finally our time and it's all coming together. I am setting myself up for possibly a big fall, but so be it, better to love and lose rather than never love.

You don't need wings to fly when your a Bluebird,but two good wingers can help, and we certainly got two good wingers.

Glad to see that Gwyn is a tad older than me, although he looks much older.

My heart is saying this is our time. I cannot thing of any other time we are more prepared for it than now and that includes 1971 when we had Clarkey and Tosh in the side. For the first time since then its there for the taking so my heart is saying.

My head is the one that is confused. For 40 years its been wait and see or its not going to happen. More the later if I was a betting man. However my head cannot come to terms with the fact we should go up this season. This time there is no reason why not its just my head after all these years is not programmed to take that.
