He made 52 appearances for the Wales national football team, and also played for Everton, Wrexham, Tranmere Rovers and had three spells at Swansea

Very underated keeper IMO and remember watching in a Wales shirt.

Dai the drop watched him play for Wales many times in the 70”s like previous posters have said a very good goalie R.I.P. DAI god bless

Grew up on Home Internationals in the 70’s.Grange End full and great keeper.

Saw Dai play a good few times for Wales and also remember him playing against us for Wrexham and the Jacks. Don’t know if I’m remembering this right, but I remember when he’d come for a cross he’d have his leg raised, so a striker would get a boot in his upper body if he made an attempt to get the ball.
RIP Dai. Definitely a Wales legend!

Saw him play a few times at ninian park as a kid, back in the mid 70's. Always remember how far he came out of his box. I remember the old man telling me he was one of the best in the world which I fully believed at the time
Bought back a few good old memories hearing this sad news.
