No he probably won’t get a game now he’s back. MM won’t change it around much. He will leave in the summer another one not given a chance.

I’d think MM will stick with the same starting 11 depending on any knocks. May swop one or two on bench to keep it fresh.

I agree. I do think that Brown will get a fair chance as the chances are that one of our CBs is likely to get injured or suspended by end of season.

If we brought him back he deserves to be given a chance even if we don’t get injuries, has a great throw in by all accounts?

I see your thinking mate but at the moment, there’s nobody to drop out of the back 4.

Mick seems to have settled on playing five at the back.

So I would imagine when one of Flint, Morrison or Nelson get injured or need a rest, then Brown is currently first choice to replace them.

Mick never said he was bringing him back to start games. He said he brought him back so they can look at him in training because his contract is up in the summer but the club have the option for another year.

Who said “MM brought him back to play”

Nobody on here has, stop making it up as you go along. The conversation just stated he deserves a chance, nothing about playing him.

Dangerous people make things up!

Brown was actually called back originally by Harris for Feb 1st.

Big Mick was then told some good things about Brown and was looking forward to seeing him.

Manager Mick McCarthy said one of the first pieces of advice he had , but actually Harris called for him due to shortage of players at our club.

Evening 62r! I agree, still plenty of games left for the above to happen, and he's on bench tonight.

To anyone who says he wont get a game, I think they're wrong. Ive seen Brown play a couple of games - albeit - on the box. And he seems very self assured and more than competent. He also seems to be the sort of player MM will want in defence. Looking forward to seeing him play. Looking forward to next game - that's the first time ive felt like that for a long time.

Ciaron will certainly get games now we are playing with 3 centre backs.

We have also apparently made a commitment that all centre backs have to have long hair. Good luck with that Nelson.
