What have the managers said?

Cardiff City manager Mick McCarthy:

"I think when you've won away from home, you're allowed to enjoy it and have a smile on our faces. But that all changes tomorrow. We're back at it preparing for Rotherham, which will be a really tough game. They've already had wins over Middlesbrough and Derby. That's no mean feat, so we know what to expect when we go up there and we're going to have to prepare accordingly.

"It's three wins on the bounce for them. They've clearly got momentum and going up there it's always a tough game.

"But we'll be ready for it. We're unbeaten in three at least. I know we've just won our first game in a long time, but we're going up there with a bit of momentum as well."

Rotherham manager Paul Warne:

"We had to make changes [against Preston] and I knew that we would be criticised no matter what the result was. Last time we played a Wednesday and a Saturday, we did really well at Boro and then just struggled a bit with energy against Swansea. I had to make changes this week, it wasn't easy, but I took five key players out.

"We had a spring in our step and the lads that came in did really well.

"Overall, we're pleased with that win but we now have to recover for Tuesday and go against a different competitor."
