I agree mate. Has to be til end of season only to plug a gap.

I said when he signed that it's as close to risk free as you can get in football.

Costing us practically nothing, in football terms and a very short contract.

His fitness was always a worry and we know he won't play many games.

But you can say the same about Tomlin, and we're paying him a lot. Nobody can really say we're getting value for money for Tomlin's wages.


It's down to Williams to get himself fit enough to play and prove he deserves a longer contract.

If he doesn't, we haven't lost a lot of money.

Agreed. Was it even a season. I doubt we'll see a 100% LT this season either.

Football is a young man's game and some players can not take the rigours of being a professional footballer. Jonny is one of those.

Apparently Len Noakes has bought a double bed from ikea so he can fit Vassell and Williams on it at the same time

The famous Transfer Committee make all these decisions , transfers , contracts and have the final say , your guess is as good as mine.

All I can say is Our club is in so much debt due to years of bad deals , contracts , signings etc etc and never learns .

It's unfathomable the amount of mistakes made.
