It appears that the club have won the day, so to speak, with Chris Riggott and the announcement of him signing can be expected tomorrow or Friday. The club wanted to release Gerrard on loan but they had hoped to have the Riggott deal pretty much tied up prior to allowing Hull to take Anthony, but Hull insisted he signed on transfer deadline day or they would look elsewhere.
There were issues with the terms of Riggott's contract but they appear to be sorted and I am told that the signing will happen before the weekend.

Good news. He will be good cover for Gyepes and hopefully oust Hudson

Cheers Carl, glad it's nearly sorted. Think if he can keep fit he could be an excellent addition to the squad.

Lets hope he lives up to his reputation (the talent bit not the sicknote one

)
Releived we've got some cover there now, but still a bit worried we could end up paying a player who is regularly injured.
For the moment though he'll have to wait as Gyepes and Hudson have had a good start.
