Seems a decent enough line-up with some decent options to come off the bench should we require either way (winning or searching)

No real surprise on Williams missing out and it is disappointing; although I am sure I read it was one of our own players who crocked him in training...? :(

Yes out / nothing changes with him.

Averages 14 games a season incl subs.

Thats why we had him free.

At least 5 of those Bristol players are not first team regulars, so I don't think they have many key players missing.

Glad to see MM has started with Wilson I feel it’s a must. Would have preferred to have seen vaulks dropped instead of bacuna though. But I’d still settle for this change.

I guess vaulks gets in for those long throws that “almost” end in goals but rarely seem to.

Unfortunately it was always gonna happen. Just take a look at his history a poor poor signing in my eyes.

It does seem to go against him but given Mick McCarthy's liking of the lad and at the cost involved, I'll give him a chance... :thumbright:

I’d love it to. But history says he won’t be fit enough to get the chance. I don’t think he’s nearer tomlin level where I can be more patient with his injury woes.

With you on this sven,we seem to like to kick lumps out of one another in training!! Hardly a poor signing at 50k though.lets hope its a minor knock.

I hate the three at the back with Morrison and flint. Mozza ends up being dragged out to right back and benson to left back. If we are going to do it it needs to be either mozza or flint in the middle and nelson right with brown left. Anyway who knows, at least Wilson starts

Not sure I'd compare him with Tomlin but I have empathy with any player (or otherwise) who injures himself in pursuit of his career. Sadly, these things happen and it must be even more frustrating for them than us; notwithstanding unlike many of us, they are earning decent money whether sat on the sidelines or running about on the pitch

When you look at how strong that starting eleven is you realise how poorly they have performed and been managed to be in the position we are.

Can't understand why Tom Sang who could not establish himself in the team at league two Cheltenham is on the bench but not Ciaron Brown who did establish himself as on of the better players at Scottish Premier side Livingstone.

Just looked at. Bristol forum and they are very pleased with the side they have picked and think it's a strong bench too. A bit strange as I thought they were decimated with injury.

Sorry wasn’t comparing them like for like. I meant because I rate tomlin so well in his position I can have more patience with tomlin.
I don’t think JW will preform to the level that we can tolerate a lot of injuries. If ty see what I mean
