“ Last night at Cardiff City / After another meeting ‘

Thu Feb 04, 2021 11:29 am

Just a Travel group meeting / nothing major.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=220078

With the Supporters groups .

No Dalman, No Choo this time , just your Wayne Nash / Police etc

The fans were told all the fans flags were being moved
Rule 118 its to do with EFL .

All clubs are obliged to meet supporters groups representatives at least twice every 12months.

Police thanked the fans for not turning up at the ground during the Covid.

Apparently digital ticketing ?

The Welsh FA tried it, in Welsh Premier league, but not gone down well, so voting on it for next season.

Sol Bamba t'shirts, club shop representative said they had no budget to buy them in, so Wayne Nash said leave it to me, I will speak to the club about it.

No where near like last time and quite boring

Annis did Wayne Nash say that the flags were being moved or removed, as EFL rule 118 is nothing to do with flags only that the club must meet with supporters, twice a year!
118 Supporter Engagement

118.1 Clubs shall hold at least two meetings/fans forums per Season to which its supporters (or representatives) are to be invited in order to discuss significant issues relating to the Club. The framework for these meetings shall be documented in the Club’s customer charter, but are subject to the following minimum criteria:

118.1.1 Clubs must be represented by the Club’s majority owner, board director(s) or other senior executive(s);

118.1.2 where meetings are not open to all supporters wishing to attend, the supporter representatives must be elected, selected or invited in line with basic democratic principles; and

118.1.3 individuals cannot be excluded by the Club without good reason (the Club acting reasonably).

So the meeting was because the club had to as per EFL rules.

The more I hear, the more the club owners remove themselves from the fans and reality. So was rule 118 given as a reason for removing flags?

I've also found it ironic that the only words visible on an advertising banner in the family stand are 'No Interest'. Is that a message from the board to it's supporters?

Roger,

They were told the flags are being placed along the Ninian stand in a line :thumbright:

They had a meeting less than 2wks ago with Dalman(Chairman) & CEO Choo, so they did not have to attend this time.

The previous meeting was supposedly for any supporters to attend, but was kept quite and everyone told with less than 24hrs notice.

Jonathan, yes the club has to meet the fans twice a year under EFL rules.

Disgrace from the EFL as fans can still show support by using flags around the pitch and no idea if true but i bet it helps the players seeing the flags from fans when playing at home.
